Using hosting, reseller and server services securely, lawfully and in a way that protects the service of other users.

The texts on this test site have been prepared in preparation for going live. The order details of the purchased service and the mandatory legislation in force are assessed together.
What does this document cover?
1. Scope and responsibilities
This policy applies to content, applications, e-mail and network activities hosted on HOSTIMOR services. With respect to their own content, the users they authorize and the software they install, the Customer ensures that use under their control complies with the rules. Reseller customers communicate these principles to their own sub-users. The Provider's infrastructure security and statutory responsibilities continue separately.
2. Prohibited use
- Unlawful content or activity; unauthorized interference with the intellectual property rights, personal data and privacy rights of others.
- Phishing, fraud, malware distribution, stolen access credentials or illegal data trading.
- Unauthorized access, attacks on other systems, DDoS, unauthorized scanning or directing security tools at unauthorized targets.
- Unsolicited bulk e-mail, spam, abuse through open relays/proxies or network activity intended to conceal the source.
- Resource consumption in a manner not expressly permitted by the package, circumventing security or deliberately impairing the availability of the service for other customers.
Security research or load testing may only be carried out on systems you are authorized to test, in line with the service capacity and with the necessary coordination. Legitimate applications are not automatically deemed prohibited merely because they are unusual; the risk and technical impact are assessed.
3. Resources and shared infrastructure
The scope of disk, processor, RAM, traffic, connections, files or concurrent processes is determined by the package features in the order. On shared hosting, if resource consumption reaches a level that affects other customers, the problem is measured and explained to the Customer; options for optimization or moving to a suitable package may be offered. The paid scope is not narrowed retroactively through vague limits introduced later.
“Unlimited” labels do not mean unlimited physical hardware. Whether workloads such as file hosting, archiving, mass distribution or mining are suitable for the package is assessed according to the stated resources and terms of use. This policy does not by itself create an undisclosed numerical limit or a mining ban on all server products.
4. E-mail and account security
The necessary permissions must be obtained for recipient lists, mailings must comply with the relevant communications legislation, and opt-out requests must be processed. To prevent their e-mail accounts from being compromised, the Customer uses up-to-date software, strong access credentials and appropriate authorization. Automated sending by virus-infected applications is also treated as a security incident.
In the event of an incident involving a security risk or affecting network reputation, HOSTIMOR considers applying a proportionate restriction only to the necessary part of the service. Passwords or authentication codes are not requested to be shared in plain-text support messages.
5. Violation reports and response
Violation reports can be sent to destek@hostimor.com, stating the relevant domain name/IP, the time, the observed event and, if possible, verifiable technical information. Unnecessary third-party data should not be included. A report does not by itself show that the claim is true; specific information and requests from competent authorities are assessed.
Unless there is an imminent danger or a legal requirement, the Customer is informed of the problem and the expected remedy. In an emergency, a temporary restriction may be applied to limit damage; afterwards, the reason and status information are provided. Permanent termination of the service is assessed taking into account the severity of the risk, recurrence, the possibility of remedy and the agreement. Objections can be submitted through the support channels; statutory application rights are reserved.
6. Fees, records and rights
A usage violation does not mean the automatic forfeiture of all amounts paid. Refund and damage claims are assessed according to fault, the performance of the service and the relevant contractual/legal rights. Statutory traffic and security logs are kept within the scope of the applicable legislation and purpose; this policy does not authorize the disclosure of content to unnecessary third parties merely because a report has been made.
