HOSTIMOR provides, or acts as an intermediary for, the domain name transaction chosen by the Customer within the processes of the relevant registrar and registry operator. This page does not claim that HOSTIMOR holds an independent ICANN or TRABİS accreditation. Depending on the domain name extension, registrar/operator rules, ICANN policies or, for .tr domain names, TRABİS regulations may also apply.
2. Registration and ownership
The Customer checks the spelling, extension, term and registrant details before payment. A domain name that appears available in a search may be registered by someone else until the transaction is completed. Without successful confirmation from the registrar, the registration is not considered complete. For a transaction that is not completed, the fee and alternative options are clearly assessed; the Customer's statutory refund rights are reserved.
When choosing a domain name, the Customer is responsible for researching trademark, name and third-party rights. HOSTIMOR does not additionally provide a trademark review guarantee that the chosen domain name will not create disputes with third parties. Ownership, access to the customer account and billing information are not the same concept; the registrant details held by the registrar are authoritative.
3. Accuracy of contact information and verification
The registrant and contact information required for registration must be kept accurate and up to date. If the registrar sends a verification request or an e-mail confirmation, the specified action must be completed in time. Incorrect information or incomplete verification may result in the domain name being suspended. Personal data is transferred only within the scope of the relevant registration transaction and the applicable legislation; the Privacy Notice (KVKK) also applies.
Privacy or WHOIS/RDAP information masking services are only possible for the relevant extension and within the scope offered by the provider. Complete anonymity is not promised for every extension. The Customer should not share access and transfer information with unauthorized persons.
4. Transfers and registration changes
Transfers depend on the rules of the relevant extension, locks, the authorization code, registrant approval and any waiting periods. It is not assumed that every transfer will be completed within the same time or that a new year will always be added. The transfer fee and its effect on the service are explained before the order. Ownership/representation verification may be requested for changes; unnecessary documents should not be collected.
The Customer should keep track of transfer approvals and restrictions at the current registrar. To reduce the risk of service loss, a transfer should not be left until the expiry date of the domain name. Changes to DNS or name servers may take different amounts of time to propagate across the internet.
5. Renewal, expiry and recovery
The Customer keeps track of the registration term and expiry date. Reminder messages make this easier; contact information must be kept up to date. Automatic renewal takes place only with an active selection, a valid payment authorization and a successful transaction; merely having a balance or card on the account does not prove that the registration has been extended.
An expired domain name is at risk of suspension, redemption/recovery, deletion or registration by others. Periods and recovery fees vary by extension and registrar. No common guarantee is given that applies the .tr rules to all generic extensions, or the recovery period of one generic extension to all domain names. The renewal/recovery fee is explained to the Customer before the transaction, and no additional paid transaction is carried out without approval.
6. Cancellation, withdrawal and refunds
Domain name transactions are not covered by the 30-day commercial money-back guarantee offered for annual hosting/servers. However, the consumer's rights arising from statutory withdrawal, defective performance and transactions that never took place are reserved. The completion of a registration/transfer/renewal does not by itself create an unconditional ban on refunds in all disputes; the legal exceptions and information requirements for the relevant transaction are assessed on a case-by-case basis.
After a domain name has been registered, it is not assumed that spelling corrections, extension changes or free cancellation are technically possible. If an incorrect order is reported immediately, the status of the transaction at the relevant organization is reviewed. The Cancellation and Refund Policy is supplementary.
7. Disputes and resources
Rights claims are handled according to the relevant domain name policy and the applicable dispute resolution procedures. Extensions under ICANN and .tr extensions may be subject to different processes. Competent decisions or organization policies may require the suspension, transfer or cancellation of a domain name; the general customer service relationship does not prevent these processes.
